One platform, four decisions already made for you
The OWON XSA800 is the entry point into benchtop spectrum analysis: a compact 375 mm-wide instrument with a 9-inch 1280×800 multi-touch display, covering 9 kHz to 500 MHz, 1 GHz or 1.5 GHz depending on model. Resolution bandwidth goes down to 1 Hz, and with the built-in 20 dB preamplifier the displayed average noise level reaches −160 dBm/Hz.
It is built for practical work rather than the lab bench alone: EMI pre-compliance resolution bandwidths (200 Hz, 9 kHz, 120 kHz and 1 MHz at −6 dB), full-band signal auto-location, a spectrogram, audio demodulation, modulation analysis and pass/fail limit testing with an alarm. Every model can be ordered with a tracking generator, which turns it into a scalar network analyser for filters, cables and antennas.

1 Hz resolution bandwidth
Resolution bandwidth from 1 Hz to 1 MHz in 1-3-5-10 steps, with a <5 typical 60 dB:3 dB shape factor — enough selectivity to pull two close carriers apart.

EMI pre-compliance
Dedicated −6 dB EMI bandwidths (200 Hz, 9 kHz, 120 kHz, 1 MHz) plus free OWON EMC testing software for Windows — find your emissions problems before the test house does.

Optional tracking generator
A tracking generator covering 100 kHz to the top of the model’s range, −40 to 0 dBm in 1 dB steps with ±3 dB flatness — scalar network analysis without a second instrument.

Connect & automate
LAN 10/100, USB host and device, HDMI 1.4 out and a 3.5 mm audio jack, with SCPI remote control and 256 MB of internal storage.
