What is the difference between the LCR2300, LCR2200, LCR2100 and LCR2020?

The four LCR2000 models are identical apart from their maximum test frequency: the LCR2300 reaches 300 kHz, the LCR2200 200 kHz, the LCR2100 100 kHz and the LCR2020 20 kHz (all start at 10 Hz). They share the same 0.05% basic accuracy, 40 readings/second measurement speed, ±2.5 V internal DC bias, 9-range ranging, OPEN/SHORT correction, Handler interface and 3.5-inch colour display — so choose purely by the highest test frequency your components require.

What parameters can the OWON LCR2000 measure?

The LCR2000 measures inductance (L), capacitance (C) and resistance (R) plus impedance (Z), reactance (X), conductance (G), susceptance (B), admittance (Y), quality factor (Q), dissipation factor (D), phase angle (θ) and DC resistance (DCR). It offers 13 test-function combinations (Cs-Rs, Cp-D, Ls-Q, R-X, Z-θ and more) and can monitor secondary parameters simultaneously.

Can the LCR2000 be used for production component sorting?

Yes. Every LCR2000 model has a Handler interface for integration into automated test and sorting systems, plus an OFF/PASS/FAIL comparator with HIGH/LOW tone beeper and nominal-value ranging for pass/fail binning. A 10-step list sweep lets you test each component against several frequency, voltage and current criteria in sequence.

Does the LCR2000 support remote control and DC bias?

The LCR2000 provides USB Host/Device and RS232 interfaces with both SCPI and Modbus RTU protocols for remote control and data logging, alongside the Handler interface. It also includes an internal DC bias of −2.5 V to +2.5 V and selectable output impedance (30 / 50 / 100 Ω) so components can be characterised under realistic operating conditions.
