OWON ADS900A series 12-bit benchtop oscilloscope

High-resolution measurement, a modern touch experience

The OWON ADS900A series is a compact, modern benchtop oscilloscope built around a 12-bit ADC — 16 times the vertical resolution of a standard 8-bit scope. That lets it reveal the small detail on large signals — power-supply ripple, sensor noise, audio distortion — that an 8-bit instrument buries in quantisation. Choose 125 or 250 MHz bandwidth in 2 or 4 channels.

Every model runs a responsive Android operating system on a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive display, with up to 2.5 GSa/s sampling, 100M record length and a 50,000 wfms/s capture rate. Serial-bus decoding (RS232/UART, I²C, SPI, CAN, LIN), FFT, waveform math and pass/fail testing come as standard — and an optional built-in waveform generator and 16-channel logic analyser turn it into a complete mixed-signal bench.

Why the ADS900A

12-bit resolution, a touchscreen Android interface and optional generator + logic analyser — a mixed-signal bench in one compact instrument.

12-bit high resolution

A 12-bit ADC gives 4096 vertical levels (vs 256 on an 8-bit scope), resolving ripple, noise and small signal detail with far greater clarity — from just €375.

Optional AWG + 16-ch logic analyser

Add a built-in arbitrary/function generator and a 16-channel logic analyser to any model — plus HDMI output, LAN, USB and Wi-Fi for a full mixed-signal bench.

Who it’s for & best applications

The ADS900A suits anyone who needs to see small signal detail clearly — and to fold a generator, logic analyser and decoder into a single compact bench instrument.

Ideal for
  • R&D and design labs needing 12-bit resolution
  • Power-electronics, audio & sensor work
  • Embedded & mixed-signal development
  • Education & training with a modern touch UI
  • Benches short on space for separate instruments
Typical applications
  • Power-supply ripple & noise analysis
  • Audio & low-level analog signal measurement
  • Serial-bus debugging (I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN)
  • Digital timing analysis with the 16-channel LA
  • Stimulus-response testing with the built-in AWG

Choose your model

Four 12-bit models: pick your bandwidth — 125 or 250 MHz — in 2 or 4 channels. Every model shares the same 2.5 GSa/s sampling, 100M memory and Android touchscreen. Click any model to view its full specifications, options and to buy.

Add optional modules to any model

Every ADS900A can be ordered plain, or with a built-in generator and/or logic analyser factory-fitted — select the configuration you need on each product page.
