Ordering, paying and delivery
Shipping cost and information
We offer free shipping for orders over €250,- to all countries within the European Union. International shipping prices vary by volume and destination and are calculated automatically at checkout. If your country is not available at checkout, e-mail sales@owontechnology.eu for a quote.
We can also ship with a courier of your choice or under your own courier account. Request these special shipping services by e-mail at sales@owontechnology.eu.
Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when you, or a third party indicated by you and other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. If you have arranged the carriage yourself, risk passes when the goods are handed to the carrier.
Payment
Orders can be paid with PayPal, credit card or a regular IBAN bank transfer. Belgian customers can also use Bancontact / Mister Cash. We charge no transaction fee for PayPal or Bancontact / Mister Cash.
If you request a proforma invoice and pay by bank transfer you receive a 4% discount on the total amount. After you confirm the order you will receive a proforma invoice by e-mail with payment instructions.
Taxes and duties
All products sold in the owontechnology.eu webshop are already imported into the EU and are shipped from the Netherlands. There are no extra customs duties for destinations inside the EU.
Prices in the webshop are exclusive of 21% Dutch VAT. If you are a company with a valid EU VAT identification number, enter that number at checkout. The shop will then not add Dutch VAT (intra-Community supply / reverse charge), provided the number validates.
Customers outside the EU are not charged Dutch VAT, but may have to pay import VAT, customs duty and any handling fees charged by their own customs authority. Those charges are the customer’s responsibility.
Right of withdrawal (refund policy)
If you buy as a consumer (a natural person acting for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession), you have a statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU, as implemented in Book 6 of the Dutch Civil Code.
You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The 14-day period starts on the day after you (or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several consignments, the period starts when you receive the last item.
To meet the deadline it is sufficient that you send your withdrawal notice before the 14 days expire. You can notify us by e-mail at info@owontechnology.eu, by telephone, or via the electronic withdrawal function on our website / in the order confirmation (required since 19 June 2026). You may also use the EU model withdrawal form.
Model withdrawal statement: “I/We hereby withdraw from the contract concluded for the purchase of the following goods: [product, order number]. Ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Name, address, date, signature (only if on paper).”
After you notify us, we will confirm receipt and give you the return address. You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of informing us of the withdrawal.
You may unpack and inspect the goods in the same way you would in a physical shop. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Goods should be returned complete, with all accessories and, where reasonably possible, in the original packaging.
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard outbound shipping cost, within 14 days of being informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. Reimbursement is made using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. Any extra cost you chose for a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offered is not refunded.
The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by you, unless we failed to inform you of that before the purchase, or we have agreed to bear the return cost.
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases listed in Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU. For our range this may include, where applicable: sealed goods not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if unsealed after delivery; goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised; and goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items.
Business customers (B2B) do not have the statutory 14-day consumer withdrawal right. Returns for business customers are only accepted with our prior written approval and may be subject to a restocking fee.
Legal guarantee and commercial warranty
Legal guarantee of conformity (mandatory). Consumers in the EU are entitled to a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years from delivery under Directive (EU) 2019/771. This right is free of charge and cannot be limited or replaced by a commercial warranty. If goods are defective or not as described, you may ask us, as the seller, for repair or replacement and, if that is impossible or fails, a price reduction or termination of the contract. National law in your country of residence may give you a longer period (in the Netherlands the seller is also liable for defects that appear within the period that the product can reasonably be expected to last). From 27 September 2026 the EU standardised legal-guarantee notice also applies on product pages.
Commercial warranty (OWON / owontechnology.eu). In addition to the legal guarantee, OWON grants a 2-year commercial warranty on products purchased from an official OWON distributor or authorised reseller. Products purchased outside official dealer channels may be refused under this commercial warranty or repaired against charge. The commercial warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
How to claim. Contact owontechnology.eu by e-mail and describe the problem clearly. An engineer will assess whether we send a free spare part or need the unit returned. Spare parts are shipped free of charge. If a return is required, please ship the unit to us with a reliable tracked service at a reasonable cost. We ship the repaired or replacement unit back free of charge and aim to complete this within 14 days of receiving the goods.
EU sanctions, restricted persons and export controls
JRSE B.V. / owontechnology.eu complies with all applicable European Union restrictive measures (sanctions) and with the EU dual-use export-control regime.
We do not sell, supply, transfer or export products, software or technical assistance, directly or indirectly, to any natural or legal person, entity or body listed under EU restrictive measures, or for the benefit of such a person. We also do not make funds or economic resources available to listed persons. Screening is carried out against the official EU consolidated list of persons, groups and entities subject to financial sanctions.
We do not accept orders, and we will not ship, where the destination, end-user or intended end-use is prohibited under current EU sanctions. This includes, among other regimes, restrictive measures relating to Russia and Belarus (including the prohibition on the sale of dual-use and certain advanced goods and technology that could contribute to military and technological enhancement), Iran, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Syria and other country- or territory-specific EU programmes, as well as measures targeting occupied territories of Ukraine. The applicable lists and geographical scope change. The official sources are the EU Sanctions Map (https://www.sanctionsmap.eu) and the legal acts published in the Official Journal of the EU.
Certain test and measurement instruments, accessories, software and related technology may be dual-use items under Regulation (EU) 2021/821. Export, re-export or transfer of such items from the EU to a destination outside the EU, or to a restricted end-user, may require a prior authorisation from the competent authority of the Netherlands (or another competent EU authority). We may refuse, delay or cancel an order where a licence cannot be obtained or where we are not satisfied with the end-user information.
By placing an order you confirm that: (1) you are not a person or entity listed under EU (or, where applicable, UN) restrictive measures, and you are not owned or controlled by such a person; (2) the goods will not be used for any prohibited military, nuclear, missile or other restricted end-use; and (3) you will not re-sell, re-export or transfer the goods to a sanctioned person, to a prohibited destination, or in circumvention of EU sanctions (including via third countries). We may request an end-user statement and identity documents before dispatch. We may cancel an order and freeze related funds where required by law. Circumvention of EU sanctions is a criminal offence.
