Four instruments. One 10.4-inch touchscreen.
The OWON FDS1102A replaces a whole bench of equipment with a single Android-based instrument: a 100 MHz, 2-channel oscilloscope with a switchable 8 / 12 / 14-bit ADC, a 50 MHz two-channel waveform generator, a dual-channel 15 V / 3 A power supply and a 4½-digit (20,000-count) true-RMS multimeter — all operated side by side on one 10.4-inch capacitive multi-touch display.
In 14-bit high-resolution mode the scope resolves signal detail an 8-bit instrument simply cannot show, and because the generator, supply and scope live in one box, the built-in frequency response analysis (FRA) function draws Bode plots of your filters and control loops without any extra equipment. HDMI output, four USB host ports, LAN and mouse/keyboard support make it equally at home on the bench, in the lab and in the classroom.

A full test bench in 421 millimetres
Scope, generator, supply and multimeter share one screen and one workflow — probe a circuit, power it, stimulate it and log the numbers without ever swapping cables between boxes.
What’s inside the one box
100 MHz HD oscilloscope
2 channels, 1 GSa/s, 10 Mpts record length and 65,000 wfms/s refresh. The ADC switches between 8, 12 and 14 bits — in 14-bit mode (100 MSa/s) small signal detail stands out from the noise floor.
50 MHz waveform generator
Two 300 MSa/s, 14-bit outputs: sine to 50 MHz, square to 25 MHz, pulse to 10 MHz plus 28 built-in arbitrary waveforms, with AM/FM/PM/FSK modulation, sweep and burst.
Dual-channel power supply
Two 0.1–15 V / 0.1–3 A outputs (15 W each) with 10 mV / 10 mA setting resolution and OVP/OCP — run them independently, in series for up to 30 V, or in parallel for more current.
4½-digit multimeter
20,000-count true-RMS DMM: voltage to 1000 V DC / 750 V AC, current to 20 A, resistance to 100 MΩ, capacitance, duty cycle, continuity and diode test with auto-ranging.
Built around a modern touch workflow

- Android-based user interface on a 10.4-inch, 1024×768 capacitive multi-touch screen — pinch, drag and tap like on a tablet, with a familiar app-style menu.
- FRA / Bode plot function: the scope sweeps its own generator through your circuit and plots gain and phase against frequency — loop response and filter characterisation with zero extra hardware.
- Serial bus decoding & triggering for RS232/UART, I2C, SPI, CAN and LIN, next to edge, video, pulse, slope, runt, windows, timeout, Nth-edge and logic triggers.
- Deep analysis toolbox: 30+ automatic measurements, FFT, user-defined math functions and digital filters (low/high/band pass, band reject), with 128 MB waveform storage.
- Rich connectivity: HDMI for an external display, 4× USB host for mouse, keyboard or memory sticks, USB device, LAN, trigger out and an earphone jack — Wi-Fi optional.
- Frequency counter built in, and a probe-compensation output (≈5 V, 1 kHz) on the front panel.
Ideal for
- Electronics education — one instrument per bench covers the whole practical curriculum, and the HDMI output mirrors the screen to a classroom display
- R&D and repair benches where space is scarce
- Embedded development — power the target, stimulate it and decode its buses on one screen
- Field and on-site measurement: one 4.25 kg unit instead of four boxes and their cabling
Typical applications
- Filter and control-loop characterisation with the built-in FRA Bode plot
- Low-level analog work in 14-bit mode — sensor signals, ripple and small distortion
- RS232/UART, I2C, SPI, CAN and LIN debugging with bus triggering and decoding
- Powering and profiling prototypes with the dual 15 V / 3 A supply while measuring with scope and DMM
