The analyser you actually have with you
A bench analyser measures better than this one. It also stays on the bench. The HSA2000 is 198 × 96 × 38 mm and about 0.6 kg, runs from two 18650 cells and holds a 9 kHz to 3 GHz spectrum analyser, a two-channel oscilloscope and a 20,000-count true-RMS multimeter behind one 3.5-inch screen. It goes in the bag you already carry, which is the whole argument for it.
The spectrum side covers the bands people actually chase in the field — ISM, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, LoRa, DECT, the sub-3 GHz cellular allocations — with 100 Hz frequency resolution, resolution bandwidths from 200 Hz to 850 kHz and a displayed average noise floor of −120 dBm, or −140 dBm with the 20 dB preamplifier on. Input is 50 Ω SMA, the reference level runs from −80 to +20 dBm and the attenuator steps 0–30 dB in 1 dB.
The oscilloscope is where the three models differ: 70, 100 or 200 MHz of analogue bandwidth at 125 MSa/s, 500 MSa/s or 1 GSa/s, two channels, 8-bit, 10,000 wfms/s and an 8K record. The multimeter is a proper one rather than a token: 20,000 counts, true RMS, auto-ranging, volts, amps, resistance, capacitance, continuity and diode, on CAT III 600 V rated inputs to 1000 V DC, 750 V AC and 10 A.

Why the HSA2000
Not the most sensitive analyser you can buy — the one most likely to be in your hand when a problem appears.

Genuinely pocket sized
A 198 × 96 × 38 mm case at about 0.6 kg without batteries. It fits the bag you already take to site, so the measurement happens when the fault does rather than after a trip back to the bench.

Spectrum to 3 GHz
A 9 kHz to 3 GHz sweep with 100 Hz resolution, 200 Hz to 850 kHz resolution bandwidths and a 20 dB preamplifier that drops the noise floor to −140 dBm. Enough to find an interferer, check a transmitter and see what is on a band.

Scope and meter as well
Two oscilloscope channels to 200 MHz on the top BNCs, and a 20,000-count true-RMS multimeter on the four front jacks. One instrument covers the RF, the waveform and the voltage instead of three.

Works on the bench too
A fold-out bracket props it at a readable angle, and the USB port both charges the instrument and talks to the OWON PC software. Two 18650 cells mean no mains lead on site.

What it is not
Worth being straight about, because it decides whether this is the right purchase. The HSA2000 is a field and service instrument. Its frequency resolution is 100 Hz and its narrowest resolution bandwidth is 200 Hz, it shows one trace over 301 display points on a 3.5-inch 320 × 240 screen, and it has no tracking generator, no EMC pre-compliance software and no demodulation suite.
If you need 1 Hz resolution bandwidth, a −160 dBm noise floor, a tracking generator or EMI templates, that is the HSA1000 series. If you need real-time capture and vector network analysis, the HSA3000-R series. Both cost several times as much, and both stay in the van.

Sample rate is the maximum on a single channel. On the HSA2307 two channels run at 125 MSa/s. Prices include VAT and are the live shop prices.
Three instruments, one pocket
The reason to carry it is not that any one function beats a dedicated instrument — it is that all three are with you. Check the band, look at the waveform, then measure the rail, without going back for another box.

That is the complete list from Appendix A of the user manual. There is no power adapter — the instrument charges through its USB port from any 5 V 2 A supply — and no RF antenna or SMA cable is supplied. If you intend to use the spectrum analyser off-air rather than conducted, budget for an antenna and an SMA lead. Contents subject to final delivery.
