OWON SDS210(S) 100MHz 2CH 1GS/s Series Digital Oscilloscope

€179.00

The OWON SDS210 is a 100 MHz, 1 GS/s digital storage oscilloscope with 2 channels, ideal for education, labs, and electronics troubleshooting. Compact and lightweight, it offers a 7″ TFT color display, 20M record length, and advanced math/FFT functions for in-depth signal analysis.

The S model (SDS210S) includes a built-in waveform generator, providing standard sine, square, ramp, and pulse outputs up to 25 MHz, plus 16 arbitrary waveforms — making them versatile all-in-one tools for testing, design, and repair.

The entry point into the SDS200 range

100 MHz, and 20 million points of memory

The OWON SDS210 is the most affordable way into the SDS200 platform — a 100 MHz, 2-channel oscilloscope in a slim 1.1 kg housing, with two independently sampled 1 GS/s channels and a 7-inch colour display.

What separates it from an entry-level scope is memory. Where a typical budget instrument stores a few thousand points, the SDS210 records 20 million: capture seconds of a signal in one sweep, then scroll and zoom down to microsecond detail without re-triggering. A ≤ 3.5 ns rise time, 30 automatic measurements, FFT and a 6-digit frequency counter answer most questions at a key-press.

Photographed: SDS220S. All three SDS200 models share one chassis, front panel and display — the SDS210 differs only in bandwidth (100 MHz) and rise time (≤ 3.5 ns).

Why the SDS210

More instrument than its size and price suggest: real bandwidth, twenty million points of memory, and an optional signal generator inside the same box.

100 MHz on two 1 GS/s channels

Each channel has its own sampler, so the full 1 GS/s stays available with both channels running — no halving when you turn the second one on. Rise time ≤ 3.5 ns, vertical sensitivity 2 mV to 10 V/div.

The “S” version adds a 14-bit, 125 MSa/s waveform generator: sine to 25 MHz, square and pulse to 5 MHz, ramp to 1 MHz, plus 160+ arbitrary waveforms — stimulus and measurement from one instrument.

OWON SDS200 series: 20M record length, 30 automatic measurements, FFT and 6-digit frequency counter

20M record length, 30 measurements

A 20 million point record captures seconds of signal in one sweep; scroll and zoom into it afterwards without re-triggering. 30 automatic measurements, FFT, waveform math and a 6-digit hardware frequency counter do the analysis.

Record length is how many samples the instrument stores per acquisition. Together with the sample rate it sets how long a window you can capture without dropping resolution.

Sample rate and time window trade against each other for a fixed memory. Deep memory is what lets you hold a long sequence at full rate instead of choosing between seeing the whole frame and seeing the edges inside it.

In practice: Capturing a full 20 ms mains cycle while still resolving a 100 ns switching spike inside it needs deep memory; a shallow buffer forces you to pick one or the other.

SCPI & LabVIEW control

A USB Host port on the front takes a memory stick; the USB Device port on the back drives the scope from a PC. SCPI commands (including an :AG subsystem for the generator) plus LabVIEW support, free OWON software and programming demos turn it into the core of an automated setup.

Who it’s for & best applications

With 100 MHz across two independently sampled channels and a 20M record in a 1.1 kg housing, the SDS210 is made for general electronics, audio and power-supply work, repair benches and teaching labs, where signals sit comfortably below 100 MHz and deep memory matters more than raw bandwidth.

Ideal for
  • Electronics design, service & repair benches
  • Education & training labs
  • Makers who want stimulus and measurement in one box (“S”)
  • Compact and mobile benches — 301 × 152 × 70 mm, 1.1 kg
  • Automated test over SCPI and LabVIEW
Typical applications
  • Signals up to 100 MHz, with a ≤ 3.5 ns rise time
  • Long captures you zoom into afterwards, using the 20M record
  • Filter, amplifier and sensor testing with the built-in AWG (“S”)
  • General electronics, audio & power-supply debugging
  • FFT spectrum checks and 6-digit frequency measurement

Choose your version

Click a version below and it is selected in the picker at the top of this page — the price and the Add to cart button follow immediately. The “S” version is the same 100 MHz oscilloscope with a 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator built in: a 14-bit, 125 MSa/s source with sine, square, ramp, pulse and 160+ arbitrary waveforms on its own front-panel BNC. On the SDS210 that costs €20 more — and it comes with the Q9/BNC lead as standard.

Prices shown incl. VAT, exactly as listed in the variant picker above. Both versions share the same 100 MHz bandwidth, two 1 GS/s channels, 20M record length, 7-inch display and connectivity — only the generator differs.

Other models in the series

Working on faster edges? The SDS215 (150 MHz) and SDS220 (200 MHz) are the same instrument with more bandwidth, for €20 and €50 more. Every SDS200 shares the same two independently sampled 1 GS/s channels, 20M record length, 7-inch display, 30 automatic measurements, FFT and 6-digit counter — and every one is available with or without the 25 MHz generator.
